ASA Excellence Awards – Outstanding Snowmobiler of the Year – Jeff Brooks

Congratulations to Jeff Brooks who was presented with The Outstanding Snowmobiler of the Year at the ASA Excellence Awards - October 14, 2023 in Edmonton, Alberta.

He was nominated for his distinguished volunteerism, leadership, safety, the environment, promotion of responsible snowmobiling and development of community outreach.

Jeff has been very involved for over 15 years and is an integral part of the Club. He has been a member since mid 2000's and been on the board since 2009. He has improved the experience of snowmobiling and has provided a legacy for our community and his family. His family is active in snowmobiling and in the Club through volunteering and participating in events hosted by the Club. Jeff has provided our Club with updated rest areas and opportunities for all of our local and visiting riders. Jeff goes over and above for the Club as well as snowmobiling as a whole in our province. He is an active rider and and contributor to our community and the trail system. Jeff is a key individual in the Club who advises on forestry and other impacts to the trails. He has attended ASA meetings as well as other local meetings regarding industry and Government enquiries. His most recent projects have been constructing woodsheds, family outhouses and shelters for our lookouts and cabin areas.

Jeff's goal as a member of the Club is leaving a legacy and a trail system that is manageable in the future for our children and their children.
