Still some snow on trails away from town. Staging areas are still open for now. Stay off of rivers and lakes.
Feb 2 update
The Groomer saw its shadow this morning so 6 more weeks of snowmobiling!! Recent snow has improved the trails considerably. Groomers continue to travel around entire trail system. Trails are a little icy under the new snow but in good condition. Remember the World Snowmobile Invasion ticket packages are going fast...get yours today.

A few crews of Trailblazers were out on Saturday and did some more trail cleaning. The majority of the trail system has been cleaned at least once. Some hangers and natural hazards still exist. The trails will officially open on Saturday, Dec.6. Both Staging Areas will be plowed and open. Join the Trailblazers for the opening ride at 10am on Saturday. A couple of trails still need to be checked and cleaned but it will be a great day for a sled ride. Bring a saw if you can. […]

Happy New year! Eagle River Staging Area parking lot was plowed Yesterday. Groat Creek Staging area was plowed before christmas and has 8ish inches of snow on it. Will be dicey getting back up to the highway until it is plowed.
