Congratulations Bailey Hearn on your ASA Award. Well deserved. We thank you for your contributions volunteering for our club. You are a great ambassador for snowmobiling and our club.
Bailey Hearn was given the Outstanding Youth Award and is given to a youth who is able to show examples demonstrating their continued participation and dedication toward the continued growth of the sport. In particular examples involving the recipient and showing projects which have helped to improve the overall image of snowmobiling in the areas of safety and environmental awareness.
Bailey has been actively promoting snowmobiling with his peers through his school in a number of ways. During the off season he has organized a group of his friends to go and trail clean. He invites different friends and they all learn about the trails and removal of brush to make the trails cleaner and safe for riding. He also organizes and takes friends who don't have snowmobiles and lends them one of his. He has helped engage the High School photo club in the production of videos (WSI) and regular clips released as well.
Bailey also regularly participates in club rides including the Golden Triangle ride, annual rallies and media rides. He actively posts on social media about the rides and brings more youth along. He generally has a go pro and helps to supply the club with photos and video. The family is involved with many aspects of the Trailblazers. Through his Dad-Jim, Bailey has taken on the initiative to learn many aspects of grooming and maintaining equipment and trails. When they aren’t volunteering, Bailey and his family can be found out on the trails, enjoying the rewards of their efforts.
Bailey is truly an ambassador for the sport of snowmobiling. He involves his peers with his love for snowmobiling. He is an inspiration and great role model. Bailey was nominated for his outstanding commitment to the club and sport.
