Thank You to the Alberta Snowmobile Association and the Alberta Government

A very big Thank-You to our Provincial Association the Alberta Snowmobile Association (A.S.A). Through the Trails Act, the ASA is awarded funding from the Alberta Government for trail maintenance, development, snow cats and facilities. The Clubs in turn are able to access a portion of this annual funding.

Part of last season and this season, we took on a large project and we built outhouses, 2-wood sheds and 6-wind-break shelters.  We completed the projects and installed them at our facilities. In addition, Pembina Pipeline donated a fire ring for each of the locations.  Thank you to the Government of Alberta and the ASA for the opportunity to enhance 2 of our Lookouts - Athabasca and Goodwin Lake. A very big thank you to all the volunteers who helped transport the buildings out to the locations this past fall and winter. It took multiple days (500 hours plus) to make this happen. All the buildings are on skids, so not permanent structures, however; they are very sturdy and will last many years.
Thank-you to Adrenaline Powersports for storing the buildings. Donations (trailers, skid steers, ect) also helped make the project a success.
An additional thank-you to our contractor and building coordinator Jeff Brooks for making this a reality. The locations look amazing and we are very proud to share them with our visitors.

Thanks to these donators: Sierens Contracting, Tri-Jet Services, Stone RV, KW Mechanical, Crawford Machinery, Pembina Pipeline, Greystone Electric, Strydhorst Enterprises, Sean Schulte and Home Hardware for all the extras to make it happen. We couldn't be more grateful!
