480 sleds for the Snowmobile Parade

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Whitecourt Snowmobile Parade!  We had a great time at the Whitecourt Snowmobile Parade last night, unfortunately we did not break our record for the largest snowmobile parade of 1047. We had 480 sleds. An a amazing number of kids participated at close to 150. We thank all the families who came out and those who travelled. A very unique experience. A big thank you to all of our sponsors Town of Whitecourt, Keyera, United Rentals, Traffic Control, Ralcomm, Greystone Electric, Xtreme Oilfield, Blue Ridge Lumber, Woodlands County and Production World.

We want to thank the Town of Whitecourt for all of their hard work for preparing the parking lots, the route from Rotary to Flats Road and the endless support we get for our events.  So many people to thank at the office, Martie and the maintenance crew, Councillors and the Mayor, to our emergency crews who will be maxed out this weekend.  In addition to all the community who have supported us and cheered on the event. We are so lucky to have such a great community support.
