Huge Congratulations to Sean, Alana, Madison & Eddy for taking home the
2025 ASA Award of Excellence for Outstanding Snowmobiling Family!
This nomination submitted from the Whitecourt Trailblazers was a no-brainer. This family advocates for the snowmobiling community every waking minute. ALL 4 of them completed 3/3 of The Golden Triangle rallies in February 2025; Whitecourt Trailblazers, Fox Creek Northland Sno-Goers & Swan Hills Snow-Goers becoming 2025 Iron Sledders. What an accomplishment; especially with the freezing cold weather we had for at least 2/3 of those rallies. Deep into covid times; they also WON the 2021 "Great Outhouse Challenge" which encouraged riders to get out and visit all of the Whitecourt Trailblazers sponsored locations and take pictures at all of the outhouses they could find!
Snowmobiling goes down deep into their family roots; starting with Sean & Alana originally meeting on an impromptu snowmobiling adventure in farm country by Busby, AB. Continuing throughout the years with Maddison & Eddy as just babies in baby carriers. We are so grateful for everything their family does not only for the snowmobiling community as a whole, but for our club as well. Sean has spent many years volunteering and getting out on the trails to help us out - bringing family and friends along to help clean and maintain our trail system; we were so fortunate to have him become our South Trail Boss last season and he has chosen to continue on this season - we're hoping he continues for many more years to come!
