FROST IS IN ~ SAFETY IS IN
With cooler temperatures on the horizon, our executive members, adopt-a-trail and other volunteers will begin heading out on the trail system for inspections and cleaning!
The Whitecourt Trailblazers would like to share a few reminders with our community prior to heading out on the trails:
DO NOT WORK ALONE Please utilize the clubs Trail Cleaning Safety Bins ~ which includes important PPE, High-Vis Gear, First Aid Kits and Pre-Job Paperwork
Contact our Safety Coordinator Justin Mandel @ 780-385-5603 to sign a bin out today! Please follow and complete the clubs Safe Work Execution Plan provided in the safety bin, it can also be downloaded off of our websites safety page { https://whitecourttrailblazers.ca/safety/ }
REPORT any oversized or dangerous trees that need to be addressed. Please identify the location of the tree and report it to one of our trail bosses, safety coordinator or executive assistant. Trail Boss Contacts:
North-East: Dave @ 780-706-0931
North-West: Jeff @ 780-706-0960
South: Sean @ 780-262-0630
Thank you so much to all the volunteers who work hard every season to keep our trail system clean, safe, and ready for the upcoming season!
