Over the past couple of weeks our clubs firewood stockpile at the Summit Cabin was unfortunately stolen.

This vehicle was captured on our security cameras on October 9th & October 10th.

It is incredibly disappointing to have members of the public steal from a non-profit volunteer organization that provides recreation opportunities within our community.

The cabins and trails are used by many different groups and individuals.

The thousands of volunteer hours that go into this work every season is not infinite and while the facilities continue to be treated with respect, we are seeing more and more theft associated with the cabins, wood, propane and hand-tools etc. These are provided at no cost to the users; we need the membership and public to help us with this issue!
