Trails remain closed due to lack of snow. Staging areas are locked. Approximately 6-8" of snow on trails. Hazards on the trails are deep tire ruts, twigs and rocks. Unfortunately, the groomers have not been out yet.
Due to weather conditions and lack of snowfall, our trails remain closed until conditions change. Today we received about 2" of fresh snow, with a total of 5-6" on the trails. Crossing riverways is not recommended.
TRAILS REMAIN CLOSED! We remain very optimistic and are working to get the trails ready. We are hosting a gathering for the Sled Raffle Draw and social on Saturday, February 17th at 3:30pm. Tri Jet Services has sponsored supplying food and water. In addition, they will also be drawing the winner for their sled raffle with proceeds going to the Whitecourt Food Bank.
