Jan 23 update

Groomer is being trucked across river to start work from the Eagle River Staging Area this week.  Athabasca River is frozen is some spots, use extreme caution around rivers and creeks.  Trails in the Goodwin Lake area are very icy, use caution.

Jan 17 update

CCCCCold this week...A little fresh snow last Saturday.  Groomer is planning to go out next week, hopefully we get a little more snow.  Rivers are still open.

Jan 14 update

A small amount of snow today will cover up the icy trails.  Be very cautious as rivers and creeks are not frozen yet.  Remember to follow the Town and County bylaws regarding OHVs.  Trails are still rough and in need of snow.

Dec 19 update

After some trail scouting on the weekend, we still can't find any snow.  The snow in Virginia Hills has all melted and Dan's skags and hifax took a beating.  Rain and wind took away any snow that was out there.

The gate at Eagle River Staging Area is open.  With the recent snowfall of 5inches, hazards still exist on the trails.  Creeks and rivers are still open.  Use caution.  Support where you ride, buy a trail pass!
