REMINDER OF OUR ONLINE SLED RAFFLE, IF YOU HAVEN’T PURCHASED YOUR TICKETS PLEASE VISIT: https://www.rafflebox.ca/raffle/whitecourttsc
We received no fresh snow or have not groomed since last week. Mother nature is not very kind to us with the warm temperatures and we keep missing the snowfall dumps. The trails are rideable and holding up. You will see bare patches starting to emerge especially south facing hills. Please ride with caution - spring conditions. Unfortunately, we've postponed our rally and we hope to host a 1 day ride within the next month if we get enough snow. Please stay tuned.
Staging Areas: Both staging areas are open. Please use the staging areas as getting out of town may be difficult with the low snow.
Hazards: Reminder that our trail ends at the banks of all water bodies. Some water hazards have opened due to the warm weather so extreme caution is advised. Please be cautious for signage and re-routing on the trails in the north and the south during this winter. We have made many changes with flattening some hills, widening, mowing and mulching various trails. Multiple re-routing/bypasses have been completed; please watch for signs or ribboning. We have Forestry Industry adjacent to many of our trails, therefore a heads up and stay on the trails. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE OLDMAN ROAD ON THE SOUTH SIDE, AS IT'S BEING USED BY CANFOR.
GOLDEN TRIANGLE REPORT: Swan Hills grooming south of town to Freeman River towards Whitecourt. Fox Creek and Whitecourt Trails-No fresh snow and no grooming. Ride with caution - spring conditions. Trails are rideable but use extreme caution at all water ways.
