The Whitecourt area will potentially receive another dump of snow over the next couple days, it is currently snowing in Whitecourt this Thursday morning. We have still been experiencing above 0°c temperatures for the last month. Parts of the trails may be bare and other parts may be icy.
The Whitecourt Trailblazers Club has wrapped up our grooming operations for the season, all trails were groomed 4 weeks ago. We are no longer monitoring or maintaining the trail system, so please us extreme caution and ride at your own risk.
Staging Areas:
Both Groat Creek & Eagle River Staging Areas will be CLOSED for the 2024/2025 Season on April 1st.
TRAIL HAZARDS & CLOSURES
⛔TRAIL CLOSED: Between Summit Cabin and the Bessie Creek intersection on the Manweiler Trail; our club has mulched this section and riding is not recommended.
⚠️Logging In Progress: Between Bessie Creek Trail and Goodwin Lake Trail. Watch for signage and ribbons on the trail. Please follow signage directions and slow down.
Expect late season conditions across the entire trail system - natural hazards may include ice, running water, rocks, stumps, trees, muskeg. Our trail ends at the banks, all water bodies may not be frozen, stay off large bodies of water.
