The Whitecourt area currently has received 35-40 cm's of snow. Grooming operations have started; this is the first pass so please use caution as some areas are thin and natural hazards still remain.

Staging Areas:

North Trail System:
Trails East of Hwy 32 have been groomed.
Trails West of Hwy 32, the creeks have been filled and will be groomed next week.
South Trail System:
All trails have been groomed except for the following:
#45 to Athabasca River
#35 to Tom Hill Tower Cabin
Hazards on the Trails:
Early season conditions still exist if you are heading out, please use extreme caution.

Early season conditions apply- natural hazards may include ice, running water, ruts, rocks, stumps, trees, muskeg. Our trails end at the bank to any body of water. Any River, Lake, Pond or Creek may not be frozen, please stay off of any large bodies of water.
