Trail Report for Thursday March 26, 2026

 

Fresh snow for the Whitecourt area this week! Please still be aware of spring conditions, there is now flood / open water on the rivers.

Groat Creek Staging Area is open.

Golden Triangle Trail from #20 to Carson Cabin - Groomed March 26

Carson Trail from Carson Cabin to #9 - Groomed March 26

Carson Lake Trail from #9 to # 19 - Groomed March 26

 

South trail system:

Summit Trail from Town to the Airport - Groomed March 25  

Summit Trail from the Airport to Summit Cabin - Groomed March 26

Manweiler Trail from Summit Cabin to #45 -Groomed March 26

Bessie Creek Trail - Groomed March 26

 

Town trail system:

 

No new grooming this week

 

Ｈａｚａｒｄｓ ｏｎ ｔｈｅ Ｔｒａｉｌｓ：

 

A mulching project was completed earlier in week on the Summit Trail around #’s 36-46, Please use caution in this area.

 

Active logging on the Manweiler and Bessie Creek Trails continues. Be cautious of logging road crossings and logging equipment. Obey all posted signage.

 

As always, our words are " Ride at your own Risk" as the environment can change the conditions at any given time.

Natural hazards may include ice, running water, ruts, rocks, stumps, trees, muskeg. Our trails end at the bank to any body of water. Any River, Lake, Pond or Creek may not be frozen, please stay off of any large bodies of water.
