Groomer tried to go out this week but snow is balling up because temperature is too warm. Trails are still in good condition. High traffic areas around Eagle River Staging area are a little rough but fresh snow is still falling. Watch for melting and overflow on creeks and rivers.
Trails near town are a little rough. Groomer will be out if weather cools off. Trails in Groat Creek area and Virginia Hills are still very good. Watch for open water on rivers and lakes.
Just a reminder that the monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 9 will be held at the Carson Warm-Up Shelter. The meeting will start at 7:00pm but be there at 6:00pm for a hot dog roast. (Bring your own dogs.) Everyone is welcome.
Trailblazers were out yesterday to check the condition of trail between Letter M and O. Some snow was bladed back onto trail by seismic company but trail still very icy and rough. Did not make it to N as a ravine was impassable on existing trail due to ice, icebanks, and ruts. We will look […]

Looks like the Golden triangle 5 Km either side of the letter N (Between the Blue Ridge haul road and letter O on the way to Swan Hills) is basically impassible due to Seismic crews blading the snow down to earth. On the plus side eight or nine club members have cleared all the blowdown caused […]

Our season is getting shorter every week, but to get something out of the season, we ask "Please" no more quadding. Sleds are trying to […]
