Roxanne Brown – Thank-You!

Roxanne Brown

Thank-you so much for your dedicated service to our club!

Roxanne spent this past season in a supporting role of Past President after she became our first ever Lady President in the 2019/20 season and stayed in that role for 4 years; until 2022/23!

We want to give a very special thank you to Roxanne; who was always committed to providing dependable leadership to the club.

Although she was our first lady president, that did not faze her one bit. She dove right in and rode out some very troubled years with COVID, lack of snow and the biggest job of all - coordinating and hosting the 2020 Sled Invasion. Roxanne was always concerned about riders being safe but still having fun and focused on involving families within our events. She definitely was a huge asset to the club and community with her service on the board. During her years, we started many new events such as our Season Opener at Boston Pizza, Family Xmas Party and our Guided Fun Ride which replaced the Media Ride; just to name a few; which has brought more people involvement throughout the season. We welcomed her enthusiasm, love for winter and her energy to just get things done. A huge accomplishment throughout her years was the ability for our club to access more funding for infrastructure and trail enhancement.

We will truly miss her on the board and look forward to seeing her and Derek on the trails!

We hope to work with you on future events and projects Roxanne!
