The Whitecourt area has received a skiff of new snow over the past week. All North & South trails have been groomed at least once.

Staging areas:

Both staging areas are open for the season. Use caution if you are leaving the parking lot or trail at Eagle River Staging Area as there may be mulching debris present.

Grooming:

North: We are planning on having all north side trails groomed for the long weekend. Trails are in great shape.

The Golden Triangle Section between the Carson Cabin and Letter O was groomed this week.

South: All south side trails will be groomed by Friday evening as we gear up for our Annual Family Snowmobile Rally on Saturday. Summit Trail to Tom Hill cabin was groomed on Wednesday. Trails are in great shape.

! Please use caution on the Bessie Creek Trail and the Goodwin Lake Trail as there is logging in progress. Watch for signage and ribbons on the trail. Please follow signage directions.

• Trails inside Whitecourt town limits have been groomed last week.

Hazards:

Please always stay on the groomed trails. If you are heading out use extreme caution. As always, our words are " Ride at your own Risk” as the environment can change the conditions at any given time. Be cautious of natural hazards including ice, running water, rocks, stumps, trees, muskeg. Our trail ends at the banks, all water bodies may not be frozen, stay off large bodies of water.
