Trailblazers Receive $20,000 Grant
The Whitecourt Trailblazers received a $20,000 grant from the ASA. The cheque is to match what the Trailblazers raised for trail repair. Reminder Whitecourt Trailblazers November general meeting is Wednesday November 13 at the Whitecourt Legion downstair. Come out and learn what we are doing this year and how to get involved! The Alberta Snowmobile & Powersports Show October 18th – 20th Edmonton Expo Centre VIP & Media Ride – Whitecourt Wednesday, January 29th, 2014 Poker Rally February 14th-16th, 2014 2014 Ladies Ride for Cancer February 24th, 2014 More details to be announced.
Town trail closed
The Town trail from the Mcleod River to West Mountain Road is closed due to construction in the area for the water treatment plant. Access is still open along Beaver Creek.
Feb 27 update.
Goodwin Lake Trail, Groat Canyon Trail, and Summit Trail to shelter were groomed today. All trails are in very good condition.
Grooming
The Summit Trail to Tom Hill Road and Goodwin Lake Trail were groomed this week. The Carson Lake Trail, Carson Trail, Eagle Trail, and Golden Triangle Trail to Carson Shelter were also groomed. Trails are in good condition.
Sled Raffle
The winner of the raffle sled was Shelby Maclean of Whitecourt, congratulations!
