Trail Cleaning Update

THEY'RE NOT CLEARED YET! There's a lot to do to when you have 465km of beautiful trails to sled and we're on the home stretch now. Trail by Letter O needs to be finished, trees bucked up at Staging Area and wood hauled to Summit Cabin. We could REALLY use your help. There's some tired people […]

Trails Closed

The snowmobile trails are officially closed. Trailblazers year-end party and meeting is Wednesday, April 13 at 7:30 at Roadhouse upstairs.  The club needs your input to continue to improve so plan to attend. Thanks for making it a great season!

Eagle River Staging Area Closed

With the creeks and rivers thawing, it is time to close the gate at the Eagle River Staging Area due to safety concerns.

March 31 update

Town OHV bylaw allowing access to the trails from town residence ends today.  Sleds must be trailered out of town. Staging Areas are still open. Rivers and creeks are starting to flow but trails still have a lot of snow cover.  It is too warm to groom so groomer has been parked.

March 24 update

Groomer tried to go out this week but snow is balling up because temperature is too warm.  Trails are still in good condition.  High traffic areas around Eagle River Staging area are a little rough but fresh snow is still falling.  Watch for melting and overflow on creeks and rivers.

March 15 update

Trails near town are a little rough.  Groomer will be out if weather cools off.  Trails in Groat Creek area and Virginia Hills are still very good. Watch for open water on rivers and lakes.

MONTHLY MEETING AT CARSON WARM-UP SHELTER

Just a reminder that the monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 9 will be held at the Carson Warm-Up Shelter. The meeting will start at 7:00pm but be there at 6:00pm for a hot dog roast. (Bring your own dogs.) Everyone is welcome.

Grooming Operations Have Begun – Quadders Please Take A Break

We would like quads to refrain from using the trails from now until our snowmobile season is finished.  When we get snow, we will start filling ruts and begin grooming.  Our season is getting shorter every week, but to get something out of the season, we ask "Please" no more quadding.   Sleds are trying to […]

Trail Report January 25, 2024

We received no new snow since Monday. In total we have about 8-10" of snow. Thank you to Brad's Picker Service for moving the snow cats out to their winter locations. Unfortunately, we will be experiencing above 0c temps this coming week, with any luck it won't effect the snow level. Snow levels vary on […]
